My Chemical Romance has released two singles from their forthcoming album,Danger Days:The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys,and they are fucking brilliant. This band continues to reinvent itself in amazing new ways.
This is Evolove. They’re an alternative rock band from Los Angeles. From left to right you have:Billy Berman (bass/acoustic guitar),Colby Jensen (rhythm guitar),Lucy Levinsohn (vocals),Dave Corsile (lead guitar/vocals) and Brian Weathers (drums/percussion). They came together in July of 2009. They’ve got an EP called 2012:Countdown To The End,which I’m really enjoying. You can preview all of their songs on their Myspace or Reverbnation,or below.
Handsome Furs is a synth punk indie rock band formed in 2007 and based in Montreal,Quebec,Canada. [ref] I got this single from Amazon on a Sub Pop Sampler last year. It was free,but I really quite like it. It’s got a retro feel to it that takes me back to the 80s in a good way,while not leaving behind the evolution music has taken since then.
